MB update - middle of week 2

So! Here it goes! I am in the middle of week 2 of my long road with Metabolic Balance. After the first week I had an excellent results - I lost 3,6kilos:-) I'm very very happy. I guess it would go even better, if it would not be my time of the month, but, it will go down slow. But what I find really most important is the centimeters of my stomach that went down; -6cm!!! I think that is pretty impressive for a one week work.


Normally, at this point I would lose my interest and start making small cheats - but to be honest, I am over it. Yes, I got about 20g of parmigiano, but that is not such a bad thing. I m really proud of myself. I am keeping all the rules, not cheating at all, and I am really going to make this thing happen. Well, I need to, I put lot of money into this.


So, how my food looks like? Usually my b-fast consist of either sheep yoghurt with fruit, seeds mix with vegies or egg and veggies. All in strict small portions. Initially I thought the portions are way too small, but in the end, it is enough. Of course, I WOULD eat more, normally, but I am not feeling hungry. Ever.


The lunch than can be really different - either chicken, meet (lean beef or pork), fish, beans or lentils, tofu or mushrooms (shiitake or oyster mushrooms). All of the proteins of course accompanied by portion of veggies. Normally, I would say that my lunch portion was at least 2 that big what I eat now. Of course, I eat some siders - rice, pasta, potato - this now does not exist. What is even more important - no sauces. At all - mayo, tartar, dresings, not even olive oil (at least for the rest of the week, starting from week 3, I have to integrate 3 spoons of cold press oils into my diet). That is bit tough sometimes, at least for the prepareation of some dishes - but I usually manage. Oh, and let's not forget about my obligatory "after lunch snack" apple - I found one really good type - not sweet, not sour, but very good combination of both.


And the dinner - well, the same options as lunch, just 10g bigger portion. Apart from that, I need to make sure to drink 3l of water per day. That is good, I thought I would have really big problems with that, but in the end I dont. Of course, one has to get used to the fact that I need to go pee every hour or so - that is a small disadvantage, but I'll learn to live with it.


Sooo. I guess I am doing really good. I am really happy with myself. Feeling really strong in my head. And that is the most important for me - I feel I can make it till the end. There is still a long way to my dream 65kg, but I will make it.


And how exactly my foods look like - well I try to make them as appealing as possible. If you want to check some, please feel free:-)

And what else to say? I am doing really good. I am most thankfull to my best friend and boyfriend in one person, who is the biggest supporter of mine. I could never do it without him. He is always eating the same as me (well, ok, apart from the tons of cheese and salami that he eats apart from that), making sure I don't feel bad or sad. That is really very important for me. Of course my family too, who keeps listening to me, talking only about my diet.


I also started (once again) to take super care about my face - I really don't want any wrinkles. I am using this new cosmetics I found few months ago - Kiehl's. I guess I ll make a review of this later... Yes, it deserves separate article.


And apart from all what was said? Nothing much. Not many plans - starting to pay attention to the italian trip we are about to make towards the end of summer with my family. It will be great fun!


So I guess... Keeping positive is the key!
