Pierre Hermé Paris Macarons

I have to have the best boyfriend in the whole world. After a week spend in London for business trip, he brought me my ultimate treat - macarons from Pierre Hermé Paris. Full BOX!!!

They are so soft, almost like meringue inside, but on the outside crunchy and firm. And the flavor. I had all of them. Believe me, I am not a big fan of salted caramel, but this one was... Fabulous. Chocolate, rose... Both of the specter of flavors I dont enjoy, and again one of those that stand up in my mind. As always, I was fascinated by lemon and raspberry, my old time favourites, and again disappointed by strawberry...

There is something about this small pastry that makes you feel royal. Like the whole world is looking at you. And nothing else matters in the moment. It is just you and the perfectly balanced flavor, genious structure, and the smell. There is no other desert in the world I love as much as macarons.

And having a boyfriend who understand your love and spends 50€ for you to have your small box of 16 pieces of heaven... <3 Love him so much... So he gets his favourite desert today too:-) So here I go, Torta caprese in the oven now ;-)
